The Mission of Canje Connection Incorporated is to provide humanitarian and developmental assistance and strategic empowerment for the people of the rural riverine Canje Creek Community in Guyana, South America. This is a significant endeavor that aims to uplift and support the community in various ways. We are dedicated to making a lasting difference by addressing the needs of the community and fostering sustainable development for a brighter future.
We believe in the potential of every individual in the Canje Creek Community. We are committed to creating opportunities for growth, empowerment, and positive change, enabling each person to define their own path and contribute to the progress of the community.

Our vision is to be an empowering and developmental collaboration to the Canje Creek
Community. We strive to while facilitate support from people and organizations from anywhere in
Guyana and worldwide to continue enhancing local relationships, unity and focused economic growth within the Canje Creek community.
A Message from the President:
The Canje Connection Incorporated (CCI) is a humanitarian non-profit 501©3 organization
established with the sole purpose of providing philanthropic and charitable assistance and
development for the people of the rural riverine Canje Creek Community in Guyana, South
America. The entity has been organized since 2006 but achieved a 501©3 status in December
2021.
Historically, the people who worked to form CCI are people with roots in the Canje Creek area.
However, the people who currently support the organization include people with roots in the
Canje Creek area, many living outside of Guyana and in the USA, their multiple relatives,
friends, and supporters from various geographical regions who believe in the mission, goals,
and values espoused by CCI.
The CCI is guided by protestant Biblical traditions that embrace the infinite intrinsic value and
dignity of all human beings and advocates for actions to enhance the development and
transformation of the people CCI serves. The cultural values of the served Canje Creek
community that focus on the holistic development of the people of the community are also
supported by CCI.
The projects on which CCI focuses and on which it will continue to focus include community
educational, agricultural, social, and cultural developmental projects located in the Canje Creek
area, primarily for the people currently residing in the community.
